Aubrey Bodine

Aubrey Bodine (1906–1970) was a renowned American photographer best known for his iconic black-and-white images of the Chesapeake Bay and the maritime culture of Maryland. As a longtime photographer for the The Baltimore Sun, Bodine documented the working life of watermen, skipjacks, crabbers, oystermen, and historic waterfront towns throughout the Chesapeake Bay region.
