The brigade of Midshipmen assembles at Bancroft Hall, the building from which all activity at the Naval Academy radiates. It houses all 4,000 of the men, and its mess hall can serve them all at a single sitting. It is said to be the largest dormitory in the world; there are three miles of corridors.
