Nate Ostrow

Nate Ostrow is a retired Department of Defense Visual Information Specialist (illustrator) with extensive experience creating artwork privately for the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S Navy and the U.S Air Force. His work can be found aboard more than 40 ships, submarines and cutters as well as in offices in the Pentagon and the Naval Submarine League. As a member of the Coast Guard Art Program (COGAP) the artist visited the World Trade Center's restricted zone in November 2001 with the service's Atlantic Strike Team. General Dynamics Electric Boat, which builds submarines for the U.S. Navy, annually commissions the artist to do a painting of the latest submarines they are launching for presentation to the ship's sponsor.
