Kusraeva is a member of the Russian Association of Marine Painters. She was born in Anapa at the coast of the Black Sea in Russia. Her infinite love of nature and art predetermined her destiny. She graduated from School of Art with the highest distinction.

“I started a new chapter in my artistic life when I moved far away from the sea and gave birth to my children. I spent several years of learning about all the details of seascape painting. I was studying under famous marine painters of Russia. Growing up by the sea, I learnt how to sense it. Now I knew how to express my emotions through the canvas.

My main painting technique is to apply thin layers of paint, creating multilayer pieces of art. Thishelps to achieve vividness in my works.”

By looking at her seascapes, people can find themselves by the seashore where they can sit and relax, listen to the sound of waves, as well as feel the breeze.

Kusraeva has participated in international exhibitions in Russia, Italy, Estonia, Germany, France etc. She has taken top places in competitions and her works are kept in private collections in many countries.

She lives and works in Moscow and gives individual and group classes of seascape painting.
