Don Kneessi

Don Kneessi is a gifted photographer inspired by one of Maryland’s great treasures - the Chesapeake Bay. He has captured images of sailboats on the bay, landscapes, marinas, birds, and plants in exquisite detail.

Kneessi works in producing Silver Gelatin prints and prefers not to use a digital camera at all. 

An award-winning commercial and fine art photographer, Kneessi is also an accomplished artist in other disciplines, including painting, and charcoal drawing. 

Kneessi shows his work here at AMAG and shares his extraordinary artistic talent by teaching photography courses.
