“I met John in 2002 and we became friends. He saw my dabbling watercolors and encouraged me to paint for fun, and I finally took him up on it about four years ago. We shared a background in classical art training with construction of perspective, understanding the math of reflection, and value. “Eight Bells” is an imagined scene off Annapolis harbor with Woodwind sailing into the sunset.
